Sable is a mid-season cardigan with a straight cut that does not broaden the shoulders, a kimono-style collar and sleeves, but with the lines of a blazer.

The cardigan is fully lined, with sections that define the line and can be filled in in various ways. Moreover, it is a very accessible pattern, ideal if you want to sew a lined garment for the first time.

Which fabric do you need: light wool, denim, gabardine, supple tweed, jacquard, or slightly thicker cotton? For the lining, choose a fabric that slides; that makes a huge difference when putting it on.
