Granite is a sweater with a slightly looser fit and an extended shoulder line that falls onto the arm and softens the shape.
And then the detail for which you ultimately sew it: the spectacular sleeves, whose volume adds that couture wink to something that is otherwise simply comfortable.
What you will master: sewing jersey. There aren't many more technical hurdles, which makes this a good pattern for taking your first steps in jersey. An overlock machine is a real help here, though.
Which fabric do you need: jersey, tricot, or pull fabric. The neckline and cuffs feature ribbing with good stretch, so use real ribbing for those, not regular tricot.
Amount of fabric: 1.50 m (34-46) and 2.00 m (48-56). Plus 60 cm ribbing.
