This fabric is used for the Lulu blouse and the Ulima top from Fiber Mood edition 25. Tencel is the brand name of the fiber lyocell. The fabric is stiff when wet, but becomes soft, comfortable, strong and supple when it dries. Some advantages of tencel are:

• It is strong, but as soft as linen.
• It is water absorbent, even more so than cotton.
• On the other hand, it dries much faster.
• It ventilates well, so it keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer .
• It continues to smell nice; research shows that bacterial growth in synthetic fabrics is 2000 times faster than in Tencel.
