Sandwashed Lyocell is a fabric that has a bit of life in it. It is not completely even in color, because of the sandwashed treatment it gets a bit of a washed-out look. It is really beautiful, such a fabric that lives! :-)

Tencel is the brand name of the fiber lyocell. The fabric is stiff when wet, but becomes soft, comfortable, strong and supple when it dries. Some advantages of tencel are:

• It is strong, yet as soft as linen.
• It is water absorbent, even more so than cotton.
• However, it dries much faster.
• It ventilates well, so it keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer .
• It still smells nice; research shows that bacterial growth on synthetic fabrics is 2000 times faster than on Tencel.
