Woven elastic from ReStyle.

Woven elastic is the strongest type. It retains its width when stretched, it does not roll up inside the tunnel, and you can stitch directly through it without it losing its strength. This is not possible with braided elastic, which narrows and weakens as soon as the needle goes through it.

What for: waistbands for skirts, pants, and pajamas, sleeve and leg cuffs, and anything that gets stretched every day yet needs to retain its shape. You can slide it into a tunnel or sew it directly onto the waistband.

Composition: 60 percent polyester, 40 percent latex
Care: washable up to 60 degrees and suitable for the tumble dryer
