Atlas is a shirt dress that looks embellished but is comfortable to wear.

The front is characterized by a play of elegant pleats, interrupted by a button placket. The long sleeve is gathered and finished with a pleated cuff, and for summer there is a short sleeve.

Four garments from a pattern: a dress or blouse, each with long or short sleeves.

What you will master: sewing pleats, making a button placket, and attaching the gathered sleeve with cuff.

Which fabric do you need: linen and light cotton, embroidered cotton, chambray, Tencel, viscose twill, or silk, between 100 and 190 g/m². Important: the fabric must pleat well under the iron, otherwise the pleats at the front will not show to their full potential. This is not a detail here, but a requirement.

Haberdashery: fusible interfacing and 4 buttons of 10 to 12 mm.
