A classy scuba with a very soft modal feel. Perfect for sweaters, dresses, and heavier T-shirts. It stretches. This fabric is used for the Yushu dress from Fibre Mood edition 25.

Modal is a synthetic fiber derived from a natural raw material. Modal has several major advantages:

• the wearing comfort, due to the smooth and soft fabric
• absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton, so it doesn't feel sweaty or sticky
• the fabric is long lasting, does not pill, retains its color for a long time, does not shrink
• the fabric is easy to dye, which requires less energy and chemicals than cotton, for example
• it is a sustainable fabric that requires less water in the production process than cotton
