  • Conical, timeless, and an indispensable item in your wardrobe: the Perfecto is a centerpiece for your curated wardrobe. And naturally, you want it to be perfect. We meet that challenge with flying colors with the MISFIT pattern. Not too long, not too short, with perfect proportions and exactly the right volume without making your figure look bulky. All the features of the biker jacket are present: the signature collar, the shoulder flaps and pleats, the wide belt, and the large front zipper that matches the zippers of the welt pockets and the gusseted sleeve openings.

The seam allowance of 1 cm is included in the pattern.

    Difficulty level: advanced

The technical challenges are: the zippered welt pockets, the sleeve openings with zippers and inserts, the lining of the jacket, the collar, and the belt.

    Supplies :

    • Fabric for a fabric width of 140 cm:
      Outer fabric:
      34-42: 160 cm
      44-52: 190 cm
      Lining:
      34-52: 130 cm
    • 3 knots between 15 and 20 mm
    • 1 separable zipper of 45 cm (for the front)
    • 4 zippers of 13 cm (for the sleeves and pockets)
    • 90 cm of interfacing (we use Vlieseline G700)
    • Universal sewing machine needles

Fabric advice: Use exclusively woven fabrics (no stretch). Consider jacquard, tweed, denim (medium weight), leather or faux leather, and gabardine. Choose a weight between 230 and 400 g/m², depending on the desired look. For the lining, I recommend a specific lining fabric, such as our 100% cupro; it is smooth and breathes better than polyester.
