All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are calculated separately at checkout and depend on the order amount and destination country.
For international shipments, we apply the current rate provided by the carrier at the time of ordering.
Although we take great care to ensure the accuracy of our website, it is possible that some information may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors.
If you have specific questions regarding sizes, colours, availability, delivery times or methods, please contact us in advance.
De Stoffenmadam is only bound by a best-efforts obligation regarding the accuracy of the information provided. We cannot be held liable for typographical or material errors.
After placing an order via the webshop, you will automatically receive a confirmation email. If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, we will notify you within two working days.
Orders should primarily be placed through the webshop.
If you prefer to order by phone or email, that is also possible. In that case, we will create the order for you and link it to your customer account. You will then receive a notification to complete the payment online via your account.
All orders must be paid in full in a single transaction. You can choose from several payment options during checkout.
Orders will only be prepared and dispatched once payment has been received. Delayed payment may result in stock shortages; if this occurs, we will inform you via email.
Orders are dispatched within two working days after receipt of payment (excluding pre-orders). The average delivery time within Belgium is three working days. This is an estimate and not legally binding.
Madeline De Stoffenmadam is not responsible for delays caused by strikes, holidays, or peak periods at shipping companies. Delivery delays do not entitle the customer to compensation or cancellation of the purchase, unless the delay was caused intentionally by the seller.
Incorrect delivery addresses are the customer's responsibility and may result in additional charges.
All delivered goods remain the property of De Stoffenmadam until full payment has been received.
The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the customer upon handover to the carrier.
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
Returns are at your own risk and cost, and must be sent in their original condition and packaging to:

Non-returnable items:
Fabric cuts shorter than 50 cm
Items made or ordered specifically for the customer
Washed, used, damaged or incomplete items
Items with opened packaging
Refunds are issued once we have received the returned items in proper condition.
Your registration is only confirmed after full payment.
Cancellation policy:
If we can fill your spot and you haven’t received any course materials or online access yet: your fee will be fully refunded.
If your spot is filled but you already received course materials or access: you will receive a 50% refund, or you may transfer your registration to a future workshop.
If we cannot fill your spot or in case of no-show: no refund is issued, but you will still receive all course materials.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop, course or event due to illness, force majeure or insufficient registrations. In such cases, the full fee will be refunded.
Digital products (such as online courses and PDF patterns) that are delivered immediately cannot be cancelled or refunded. Upon purchase, you receive instant access via email or our online platform.
Complaints about visible defects or quality issues must be reported in writing within 8 days of delivery.
Our warranty is limited to hidden defects and the legal warranty applicable to consumer purchases, as outlined in the Belgian Civil Code.
We are only liable for damages in cases of intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
All items are packaged with care. However, we are not responsible for loss, theft or damage during transport by third-party carriers.
By placing an order, you consent to the use of your personal data for order processing, shipping and invoicing. Your data will not be shared with third parties and will only be used for marketing purposes with your explicit consent.
You have the right to access, correct or oppose the use of your data for direct marketing at any time.
All agreements are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Antwerp have exclusive jurisdiction.
