Do you own an overlock machine, but are still looking for a lesson to learn the tricks of the trade? Read more.
So how do you get started working with that overlock machine? What can your machine do? How do you adjust those knobs correctly? What are the tips and tricks for taking nice curves and finishing corners? ... You will learn all the basics in this workshop.
In this workshop, you will get to know your overlock machine better. You will learn the basics of the machine, what all the buttons are for, making a rolled hem, a rolled seam, the flatlock stitch, troubleshooting, knife position, differential feed, tension knobs, etc.
The only thing you already need to know is how to thread your overlock. Load 4 bobbins of thread in the colors of your buttons onto your overlock.
Make sure your overlock is in good working order (serviced no more than 1 year ago).
Difficulty level:
- being able to thread your overlock machine is sufficient (you can also pop into the store beforehand to let us help you)
Do you already have some basic experience with the overlock? Then you will get the most out of this course.
